Kara Davis is a mission-driven development and grant-writing professional who helps organizations turn bold ideas into impact. Throughout her career, she has helped raise more than $60 million through strategic storytelling that inspires funders and accelerates growth and change for nonprofits and the communities they serve. Her experience spans the fundraising lifecycle, from strategic planning and campaigns to prospect research, proposal development, donor communication, and relationship management. She has partnered with foundations, corporations, federal agencies, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices to secure support for local and national nonprofits.

Kara also brings cross-sector experience to the team, with a background in education, technology, workforce development, youth development, health and human services, and more. For more than a decade, she has advised organizations as a consultant and most recently worked in education technology, helping high-growth national nonprofits scale and build long-term sustainability through transformative giving.

Kara holds a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish from New York University and an M.A. in International and Intercultural Communication from the University of Denver.
