Lisa Collins

Grant Professional

Lisa Collins has worked in the Kentucky non-profit sector for 14 years in direct service, program management, grant writing and administration, and most recently, at Louisville Metro Government, Office of Resilience and Community Services as the Federal Grants Compliance Manager.

Lisa also spent five years in media planning and advertising account services in Cincinnati.  

Lisa excels at seeking and increasing both foundation and government funding. Lisa enjoys working with program leadership to turn ideas and needs into concrete plans for cohesive grant applications that align with organization mission and funder goals. She is a strategic thinker who leads all facets of the grants process, understands and develops budgets, and guides implementation of new grants.

Lisa is also well-versed in HUD and VA funding applications, regulations and grants administration. 

Lisa received her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Kentucky. 

Lisa lives in Louisville with her two college-age kids.
