Amy Sajko

Consultant

Amy Sajko, CFRE, brings more than two decades of nonprofit executive leadership and fundraising experience to Ashley|Rountree and Associates, with a specialty in planned giving.

Her career has moved between fundraising leadership and wealth management, including roles as a trust officer at PNC Bank and Commerce Trust Company, where she managed charitable trusts, endowments, and estates for donors and families. That fluency in the mechanics of planned giving, paired with two decades of donor cultivation experience, lets her speak the language of both the donor and the advisor at the same table.

Most recently, Amy led the IAAP Foundation, a supporting organization to the International Association of Administrative Professionals, through the most consequential stretch in its history. She stepped in as CEO just as an $11 million windfall gave the Foundation far more resources than it had ever managed before. Amy brought her financial acumen and leadership experience to help the board recalibrate its fundraising strategy while investing in capacity building, innovation, and scholarships at a new scale. Working closely with IAAP’s CEO and both boards, she also helped turn a historically strained relationship into a full partnership built on shared strategy and joint decision-making.

Amy’s career also includes fundraising and development leadership in higher education and at a local United Way, where she built donor pipelines and led major- and planned-gift solicitations.

A Certified Fundraising Executive since 2002, Amy holds an MBA in Finance and Nonprofit Management from Illinois State University and a BS in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
