Marla Highbaugh

Marla Highbaugh is a strategic and results-driven executive leader with more than 25 years of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, team and donor development, public relations, brand management, and communications. Marla has a proven ability to drive organizational growth while safeguarding and enhancing brand reputation.

Marla’s career in nonprofit began at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center after completing her degree in public relations and graphic communications from Western Kentucky University. Most recently, she served as Chief Mission Advancement Officer for The Healing Place, a regional addiction recovery program, where she played a key role in advancing their mission through effective philanthropy and communications strategies.

Throughout her career, Marla has consistently demonstrated a commitment to helping organizations amplify their impact on the communities they serve. Whether leading consulting projects related to fund development, special events, grants, or administration, she excels at developing innovative strategies that address each client’s unique challenges.
