Susan Caldwell

Susan Caldwell, CFRE, has worked in nonprofit executive management and professional fundraising for more than 30 years. She has an extensive background in grant management, program and partnership development, and private and public sector grant writing. Her grant experience ranges from small family foundation grants to major federal grants. She has been a Certified Fund Raising Executive since 1997, serves on the board of directors for the Kentucky chapter of the Grant Professionals Association, and is a previous board member of the national Grant Professionals Foundation. Susan has secured more than $15 million in foundation and government grants for a variety of causes including addiction treatment, workforce and economic development, higher education, affordable housing, disability services, and healthcare. She previously worked as the Proposal Writing Specialist for Kentucky Community & Technical College System’s $100 million major gifts campaign and has successfully managed multimillion dollar campaigns for other nonprofits, all exceeding goals.
